The Covid review meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan decided to close the institute as a cluster for two weeks if the attendance of students in schools and colleges is less than 40 percent for three consecutive days.

The A, B, and C classifications adopted to calculate the Covid spread in the districts will come into effect from tomorrow.

The Department of Health will implement a special campaign in the event of a Covid outbreak. An online training program will be organized on January 26. Residents' associations and local authorities are encouraged to attend the event, which will provide home-based treatment, counseling for senior citizens and children, and other important counseling related to Covid.
